Make is an automation platform that lets you connect apps and services to streamline workflows without coding. It enables users to create automated actions between apps using a simple drag-and-drop interface.
For example, you might use Make to automatically send Usetiful feedback to a Google Sheet, or add new users who completed a tour to your CRM. With Make, you can connect Usetiful to hundreds of apps and create "scenarios" (automations) that trigger based on specific events.
Here are the steps to create a custom webhook in Make:
Go to Make and log into your account.
Click the Create new scenario button on your dashboard.
In the search bar, type "Webhook" and select the Webhooks module from the list.
After selecting Webhooks, choose "Custom Webhook" as the type of trigger.
Click Add to create a new webhook. This will generate a unique URL for the webhook.
Make will provide you with a unique URL. Copy this URL, as you will need it for Usetiful Webhook.
In your Usetiful account, go to the webhook settings and paste the copied URL in the webhook URL field.
Go back to Make and click the Run once button. Then, trigger the event from Usetiful (such as completing a tour or submitting feedback from a tour). This will send test data to your webhook.
Once the test data is received, you can add additional actions by clicking the + icon in Make to send the data to other services, such as Google Sheets, CRM systems, or email.
Once you're happy with your scenario, click Activate to enable the automation.
Now, your custom webhook is set up, and Make will trigger your scenario whenever Usetiful sends data.
